Financing & programs

What it costs to put one to work

Ferris® runs manufacturer offers through the season and Koenig writes the paperwork. The useful conversation is not the rate — it is what the machine has to earn to cover it.

Programs

What Ferris runs, and who it is for

These run through the season. Rates, end dates and qualifying models come from the current manufacturer sheet, so we quote them with the machine rather than printing a figure that may be a week out of date.

Volume rebates for crews buying more than one machine

Pro Fleet

Ferris's Pro Fleet program discounts on the basis of how much you buy in a season. If you are replacing more than one machine, tell us before you order the first one — the sequencing changes what you qualify for.

Military, first responders and medical professionals

A Cut Above

A rebate program for serving and former military, first responders, and licensed medical professionals. Eligibility rules and the qualifying document list are Ferris's; we will tell you what to bring.

Government, education and non-profit purchasing

Bid Assistance

For federal, state and local government, schools, hospitals and non-profits, Ferris runs a bid assistance program. If you are working to a procurement process, we can put the specification and the pricing together in the form your process needs.

Equestrian facilities and businesses

Equine Club

A dedicated program for equine businesses and clubs. Arena and paddock ground is exactly the terrain suspension was built for, so this is a good pairing.

Contract and cooperative purchasing

Government programs

Ferris participates in government purchasing programs with their own eligibility rules. We will work out which route is cheapest and quickest for your entity.

Payment plans on new equipment

Retail financing

Ferris retail financing runs promotional rates and terms that change through the year. We will show you what is current when you are ready to buy, and what the monthly figure actually looks like on the configuration you want.

Ask what is available this month

The question worth asking

How many properties does it have to cut?

A payment is only meaningful next to what the machine does. For a crew, the honest arithmetic is properties per week against the monthly figure — and a machine that holds its speed on rough ground gets there faster than one that does not.

  • Hours you actually put on in a season, not acreage
  • What the machine it replaces costs you in downtime
  • Whether comfort is buying you a longer working day

Ways to structure it

Four routes people take

Manufacturer financing
Ferris programs through Briggs & Stratton, written here. Usually the sharpest terms when a program is running.
Seasonal structures
Payments weighted toward the months the machine is earning. Ask — it is not always advertised.
Outright
Still worth asking about a program: some offers are cash-price rather than rate.
Trade-in
We value what you are running now against what you are moving to, including machines that are not Ferris.

Financing is subject to credit approval and to the terms of the program in force on the day it is written.

Questions we get

Before you apply

Can I get a payment figure before I decide on a model?
Yes, and it is often the right order. Tell us the two machines you are between and we will price both so the payment is part of the comparison.
Do you finance for businesses as well as individuals?
Yes. Commercial paperwork is routine here — most of the Ferris machines we sell go to crews.
Will a trade-in change the program I qualify for?
Sometimes, in your favour. Bring the machine, or photos and hours, and we will tell you before you commit to anything.
How long does approval take?
Usually the same day when the paperwork is complete. We will tell you what is needed up front rather than in instalments.
