Ferris® walk-behinds

For ground a rider should not be asked to hold

Slopes, ditch banks and the strips between features. A walk-behind is rarely the only machine on the trailer, and it is often the reason the job is finishable at all.

Deck widths and configurations vary by build; your Koenig salesperson confirms current specifications against the model year on the floor. Every machine here can be ordered through Koenig.

Before you choose a deck width

Ride the one you are considering

Deck width is a spreadsheet decision. Suspension is not — twenty minutes on the seat settles it, and it is the one part of this page we cannot write for you.

  • A machine brought to your property, or ours to ride
  • Set up, decks leveled and delivered ready to cut
  • Parts counter and service bay in the same building

Narrowing it down

Three questions that decide it faster than a spec sheet

The narrowest gate
Access rules out deck widths before capacity ever comes into it. Measure the tightest opening on the property first.
Hours, not acres
Two properties of the same size can differ by hours once slopes, beds and trees are counted. Hours are what suspension changes.
Who is riding
One owner on a Saturday and a crew on hour nine are different machines, even on identical ground.

Take the six questions

However you cut
