Maintenance
Measured in mornings the machine is not on a lift
A bigger sump, a longer interval, cooler oil
The benefit is scheduling as much as it is engineering.
More oil in the system means the oil runs cooler and degrades more slowly, so the interval between changes stretches. On a single property that is a convenience; across a fleet it is a real reduction in the number of service visits a season.
We do the service either way — but a machine that needs it less often is a machine that spends more of the season on the trailer, which is where it earns money.
What it changes for you
- Interval
- Longer between oil changes than a conventional sump.
- Fleet planning
- Fewer service slots to find in the cutting months.
- Engine life
- Cooler oil, working over a longer service life.
The honest version
It is not a reason to skip the rest
Blades, belts, filters and deck leveling still decide how the machine cuts. Oil Guard™ buys you time on one item, not permission to ignore the others.
- Ride one on the ground you actually cut
- Bring the operator who will be on it all day
- Ask us what breaks on these, and we will tell you
