Power

Fuel injection, for the same reason your truck has it

Electronic fuel injection replaces the carburettor with a system that meters fuel to what the engine is actually doing.

Steadier under load, easier on cold mornings

And noticeably less fuel over a full day of mowing.

A carburetted engine is tuned for an average. An EFI engine adjusts continuously, which shows up as power that does not sag when the deck loads up in heavy grass and as a machine that starts on the first turn of a cold morning.

For a crew, the practical benefit is fuel and predictability. For everyone, it is one less thing to have adjusted every season.

What it changes for you

Under load
Power stays steady in heavy or wet grass.
Cold starts
Fewer mornings spent coaxing a machine awake.
Fuel
Less through the day than the carburetted equivalent.

The honest version

Not every model needs it

On a property you cut yourself on a Saturday, EFI is a nice-to-have. On a route, it is the difference between a fuel line item you can predict and one you cannot.

  • Ride one on the ground you actually cut
  • Bring the operator who will be on it all day
  • Ask us what breaks on these, and we will tell you

Which machines have it
