Fuel injection and electronic throttle

EFI meters fuel electronically instead of through a carburettor; ETC manages the throttle the same way.

No choke, no fussing on a cold morning, and a consistent idle. For a crew that starts machines at six in the morning in April, this is a real difference.

EFI meters what the engine actually needs rather than what a fixed jet delivers, so fuel use falls — most on machines that spend their day at varying load, which is every mowing machine.

No carburettor to gum up over winter. That alone removes one of the commonest spring-startup service calls we see.
